I freely admit that maybe I missed something with this pruchase, but this is what I saw: The item name is "Scotch 1020-BRN-A Durable Duct Tape, 20 Yards, Brown, 12 Per Case." And, the item description says, "Comes in a 2-Inch length by 2-Inch width by 3-Inch perked case with 12 individually wrapped rolls."
So, I honestly expected that this was an incredibly good price for 12 small rolls of duct tape. Wrong! What I got was a kind of over-priced single roll. Had I known, I would have purchased the larger 60-yard roll (probably all I needed in this color), but I was greedy and assumed that the extra tape, regardless of the color, would eventually be used.
I admit, there is nothing wrong with the tape itself. The low rating is entirely a reflection of the fact that I believe the item description needs to be corrected.

 Finally... I've been looking for brown everywhere!May 11, 2012

After a tour of all the local hardware stores, I finally found the sought after brown duct tape here on Amazon. I just should've come here first and saved myself some time. Item arrived quickly and is a dark, rich brown. I've had experience with Scotch duct tapes before and they are strong and adhesive -- just as good as the Duck brand (who didn't have a dark brown).

I love the different colors of duct tape this brown works with my vents on the floor to seal them for keeping it air tight in our home. We don't use the electric heat so it help with being brown to match the floor. Great product!

I bought this to temporarily repair my leather couch. The color is a wee bit off, but works like a charm to keep it from ripping further.

Gets the job done. I really like the ease that this tape has when you get ready to tear pieces off. You really don't need a scissor to make the cuts, just give a good tug and it tears really easily.
